WESTERN

Westerly Senior Center is located at 39 State St., Westerly. The center’s opening hours are Mon. to Fri, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Employees are available, Monday through Friday, at 401-596-2404. Messages may otherwise be left on Lucy’s voicemail.

The dine-in option for meal service has returned. Grab and go lunches are still available by coming to the center through the car park door. Call Edie at 401-596-7216 or sign the clipboard outside the downtown eatery’s office by Thursday to order either option. A $3 donation is requested.

PAWCATUCK

Pawcatuck Community Center, Chase St. 27, Pawcatuck.

The center is looking for volunteers for the Food Pantry and other programs.

TVCCA Meals on Wheels continues to be delivered from the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center. The Senior Transportation Program provides free door-to-door transportation Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM for residents of Stonington, Westerly, and North Stonington who are 55 years of age or older. Program uses a bus with wheelchair accessible elevator. Call 860-599-3285, extension. 108, to plan a ride.

Heating and utility assistance, food supplies and items for daily use are available free of charge, Monday to Friday, 10am to 3pm

The PNC library has books available to check out Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm

Charlestown Senior/Community Center, Country Trail, Ninigret Park, 401-364-9955. The center’s hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Friday 8:30 am to 1:30 pm

Staff are on site to provide telephone support to seniors in the community who have questions, concerns, or are looking for an update.

Lunch is served Monday through Friday at noon in the center’s Parkside Dining Room. Grab N’ Go lunch meals are also available to eat outside the site. Reservations must be made before noon, two days in advance, by calling 401-364-6998.
