Two professional boxers will face each other in the ring Friday night, but they’re both fighting for a similar cause – in honor of a loved one they’ve recently lost. Tony Hernandez from Yuba City lost his mother and Joeshon James from Dixon lost his 2-month-old daughter. Both fighters are part of the six-fight Pro-Boxing Card scheduled at the DoubleTree Hotel in Sacramento. Also on Friday, two female boxers will make their professional boxing debut. Two professional boxers face each other in the ring Friday night, but they’re both fighting for a similar goal: to honor a loved one they’ve recently lost.
