Australia Day in our shire: something for everyone | Parkes Champion Post

A full day of community activities is planned in the Parkes Shire as we gather on Wednesday January 26 to celebrate Australia Day and share the stories that come from our diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Parkes’ Australia Day Ambassador this year is internationally acclaimed concert soloist, flutist Jane Rutter des Arts et Lettres, who will attend official events in Parkes and Peak Hill. Get to know her a little in the full story.
