Bowling: Results of the North Jersey Singles Championships

Back on December 11 at Bowler City in Hackensack, the best of the best in North Jersey and beyond gathered on the lanes for some competitive bowling at the North Jersey Singles Championships.

Wayne Hills’ Zachary Jordan won the boys side and Erica Cuciti, also of Wayne Hills, won it for the girls.

Cuciti defeated Cira Arcangel of Sachem North, NY in the final round 159-152. Cuciti also threw a 192 in the semifinals, a 221 in the quarterfinals and a 186 in the first round of the playoffs. Cuciti card 510 series in qualifying (eighth)

For Jordan, he blew past Warren Hills’ Matt Comerro in the final, 248-183.

Jordan earned the No. 1 seed after recording a 737 series in qualifying. Comerro was 21st with a 559.

Jordan had a bye in the semi-final where he threw a 224.
