Shurooq Celebrates ‘World’s Coolest Winter’ Campaign With World-Class Entertainment

The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) has announced a packed schedule of healthy and fun activities in its destinations to mark the second season of the UAE’s ‘World’s Coolest Winter’ campaign, which ends on February 26. age groups, Sharjah now brims with a wide range of vibrant entertainment activities as Shurooq aims to cement the emirate’s status as a leading global destination for families and ecotourism experiences.

Al Qasba

Al Qasba will be home to a wide variety of activities, including nimble circus performer tricks, handpan instrument music performances, and a wide variety of entertainment shows on Friday and Saturday from 4.30pm to 9.45pm.

Al Majaz Waterfront

Visitors to Al Majaz Waterfront are greeted on Fridays and Saturdays with performers in costumes resembling well-known figures such as Charlie Chaplin, in addition to a wide variety of activities.

Al Montazah Parks

Al Montazah Parks host local and international folkloric shows highlighting cultures around the world in addition to acrobatics and musicians who will stroll through the parks along with the other various activities and LED light parades. Shows at Al Montazah Parks start from 5:00 PM to 9:45 PM.

Khorfakkan Beach

The pristine Khorfakkan Beach on the emirate’s east coast comes alive at 4:30 PM with acrobatic performances, along with musicians who will captivate visitors with great pieces of music between 6:00 PM and 9:45 PM, and many more shows that kids and adults alike would enjoy.

All of these shows in Al Qasba, Al Montazah Parks, Al Majaz Waterfront and Khorfakkan Beach are scheduled from 4:30 PM to 9:45 PM. on Friday and Saturday until February 26, 2022.

Spend and win

As part of the campaign, Shurooq launched its “Spend and Win” promotions for seven of its tourist destinations from which visitors will participate in a raffle and five lucky winners will have an amazing experience at Shurooq’s award-winning world-class hospitality destinations. The winners will be announced in March.

Visitors who spend a minimum of 50 Dhs at Al Majaz Waterfront, Al Qasba, Flag Island, Heart of Sharjah, Al Noor Island, Khorfakkan Beach and Mleiha Archaeological Center are eligible for the raffle.

The awards include luxury hotel stays at Mysk Al Faya Retreat in Mleiha, Mysk Al Badayer Retreat in the heart of the Al Badayer Desert, The Chedi Al Bait Sharjah Hotel managed by GHM Hotels, in addition to great experiences at the Mleiha Archaeological Center, which includes the Mleiha Sunset Lounge, Buggy Adventures and more.
