22 seniors are recognized on seniors day against maroon


GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The No. 4 Men’s and No. 16 Women’s Swim and Diving Team is scheduled to host Auburn for Senior Day on Saturday at the Ann Marie Rogers Swimming and Diving Pool at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center, meeting to starting at 10 a.m. ET.

Senior recognition begins at 9:30 a.m. ET

The Gators honors 22 seniors, 10 men and 12 women. The ten men are Dylan Brisco, Miguel Cancel, Isaac Davis, Will Davis, Jorge Depassier, Bobby Finke, Erik Harper, Dillon Hillis, Nick Lydon and Kieran Smith will be recognized for their successes and time at the University of Florida. For the women, Kirschtine Balbuena, Leah Braswell, Whole Guzman, Ellie Hatton, Gabby Hillis, Nikki Miller, Katie Minnich, Vanessa Pearl, Elizabeth Perez, Lauren Snider, Rosie Zavaros and Ellie Doubt will be recognized.

Last timeout

Alfonso Mestre, Tylor Mathieu, Dillon Hillis, the men’s 400 free relay and the men’s 200 medley relay all came in the top ten in their respective events.

The Gators finished with seven A-cuts and 83 B-cuts at the Georgia Tech Invitational.

On the diving side, leonardo garcia looks set to add another win on the 3-meter springboard to his resume as he already has four season wins in that event.
