Life Is Good has the final Pegasus tune up to the top of Saturday’s tab

Life is good, one of this Saturday’s main contenders Pegasus World Cup (G1) at Gulfstream Park, did his final prep work for trainer Todd Pletcher on Saturday. The five-stage exercise passed in 1:00.9 at Palm Beach Downs Saturday, the third fastest of the 15 works over that distance.

“It was another super breeze. He looked great, moved really well, in the hand,” said Pletcher. “It’s kind of what we see every week. Just great action, and does things effortlessly. We couldn’t be happier with how he went.”

The colt Into Mischief was joined by a fellow Pegasus contender, Chess Chief, in the Work tab. Working for trainer Dallas Stewart, that Into Mischief colt went four furlongs in 48.6 seconds at Fair Grounds.
