Afghanistan will square off against the Netherlands in the third and final ODI of the series at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha on Tuesday, January 25. Afghanistan have already won the three-match series and are leading 2-0, but the Dutch team will look to win the third and final ODI to salvage their pride.

Afghan opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored a match-winning century in the last match and looked in complete control throughout the course of his innings. He will be one of the most valuable picks for the final ODI.

Afghan’s skipper Hasmatullah Shahidi seems to be in a perfect headspace as he is scoring runs with the bat and marshaling his troops really well on the field. He would leave no stone unturned in securing a win in the final game to complete a whitewash. Mystery spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman had an outstanding last match as the wily bowler picked up a four-wicket haul and obliterated the entire Dutch batting order.

On the other hand, the Dutch have played well within their limitations but have not managed to seize the crucial moments in the series and hence find themselves lagging behind in the series. Opener Scott Edwards has been in good nick for the Dutch, but he has not had much support from the other end as the other batters have clearly struggled to get going.
