Tickets on sale now for prestigious Dodge Power Brokers NHRA US Nationals

Tickets are now on sale for the world’s largest drag race, the prestigious 68th annual Dodge Power Brokers NHRA US Nationals, which will run from August 31 through September. 5 at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park.

The race will serve as the 16th of 22 events during the 2022 campaign and will also be the final race before the championship countdown begins. With a history spanning nearly seven decades, action across a variety of exciting categories, and a number of special events, including the new Funny Car All-Star Callout, the Dodge Power Brokers NHRA US Nationals will continue to deliver something special on drag racing’s biggest stage. drivers are trying to add their names to the Big Go winners list.

“The Dodge Power Brokers NHRA US Nationals represents drag racing’s greatest event and we can’t wait for our fans to celebrate all the special moments that will take place in 2022 at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park,” said NHRA Vice President of Track Management & Operations, Kasey coler. “With the addition of events such as the Funny Car All-Star Callout, the world’s most prestigious drag race in 2022 will offer even more thrills and incredible action.”

Steve Torrence (Top Fuel), Tim Wilkerson (Funny Car), Erica Enders (Pro Stock) and Eddie Krawiec (Pro Stock Motorcycle) won the 2021 event. All four professional categories will compete in the 2022 event, which will be airs on both FOX and Fox Sports 1, providing extensive television coverage during the event. The event will also feature highlights in the NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series, Top Fuel Harley and Factory Stock Showdown.

The weekend also includes the highly anticipated Funny Car All-Star Callout, a special race featuring eight top stars in the 11,000 horsepower nitro category. That will take place on Sunday, September 4, as the Funny Car teams will use a call-out format where the No. 1 seed will be given their first choice of opponent. This unique format delivers thrilling racing action from eight star drivers who will earn points toward the All-Star Callout leading up to the prestigious Dodge Power Brokers NHRA US Nationals.

Other special events taking place over the weekend at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park include the Dodge HEMI Challenge, the JEGS Allstars Bonus Event for Athletic Racers, and many more.

Last season, Torrence won the US Nationals for the second time in his career en route to his fourth world title, while Wilkerson also took his second win on drag racing’s biggest stage. Enders, meanwhile, won for the second year in a row at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, earning her an impressive three wins at the Big Go. Krawiec’s win on the Pro Stock Motorcycle was also his third win of his career at the US Nationals.

Tony Schumacher, who will return to full-time action in Top Fuel in 2022, has been a standout at Indy over the years, with his 10 wins the most of any NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series competitors. Funny Car legend John Force took his fifth US Nationals victory in 2019, taking the most in class history along with Ed McCulloch. Reigning Pro Stock World Champion Greg Anderson has six Indy wins to lead active riders in the class, while Angelle Sampey, Andrew Hines and Krawiec all have three US Nationals wins in Pro Stock Motorcycle.
