Oregon State was unable to hold on to early and late leads in a 9-8 loss to Washington State Sunday afternoon in Pullman. Jacob Melton equaled a career-high with four hits, driving in three, while Travis Bazzanan and Garret Forrester each drove in two. Despite the loss, the Beavers still won the series over the Cougars, their fifth straight over Washington State.
