Castleford Tigers were able to get one over on Huddersfield Giants on Friday night, but there were concerns about Jake Trueman. He left the field during the second half.

Powell lays into players
Daryl Powell laid into his players following Warrington Wolves’ defeat to Salford Red Devils yesterday.
The Wolves threw away a 24-14 lead with ten minutes to go to down 32-24. Read more on his comments here.
Wakefield Trinity head coach Willie Poching was seriously unhappy with the refereeing performance of Chris Kendall following his side’s defeat to Wigan Warriors yesterday.
There were a number of 50/50 calls that failed to go Trinity’s way and Poching made his feelings known. Read more here.

Hull KR boss Tony Smith was asked, in the wake of his side’s defeat to Toulouse Olympique on Saturday, whether his role at the club was in jeopardy, League Express has reported. However, Smith said:

Peet on French’s future
Wigan Warriors boss Matt Peet has spoken honestly on the future of Bevan French following another stellar performance in the win over Wakefield Trinity yesterday.

Grace’s new club
St Helens star Regan Grace has a new club, according to Rugby Rama.
That club is reportedly Racing 92 – a French rugby union side – with a 12-month deal allegedly being signed.
Hull fans angry
Hull FC went down 62-16 to Leeds Rhinos at the weekend in what was a shambolic display at the MKM Stadium.
Leeds registered 11 tries with Rhyse Martin missing just one conversion as Hull fans let their feelings be known. Read more here.
Warrington Man’s Eye Condition
The Daily Mirror has revealed that Warrington Wolves forward Robbie Mulhern as a unique eye condition.
Only one in around 2,000 people develop keratoconus – the thinning of the cornea which leads to blurred vision – but Mulhern has it alongside teammate Thomas Mikaele.
Manfredi reveals SL interest
Former Wigan Warriors winger Dominic Manfredi has spoken to Serious About Rugby League about his future.

Leeds Rhinos have made a new signing as Rohan Smith attempts to rebuild his squad after inheriting Richard Agar’s.

Two shock clubs for Hastings
Two shock clubs have announced their interest in Wests Tigers and former Wigan Warriors halfback Jackson Hastings, Fox Sports has revealed.
