Suliasi Vunivalu’s Test debut will have to wait at least another week, after Dave Rennie turned to Tom Wright as one of five changes to the starting side for Saturday’s second Test against England in Brisbane.

All but one of the five changes to the XV is injured enforced, with Hunter Paisami preferred ahead of Len Ikitau at outside centre.

Tom Banks’ injury at fullback had opened the door for Andrew Kellaway to make the position his own after his assured performance last weekend, but the utility back’s hamstring injury threw a spanner in the works on Tuesday.

As reported, Jordan Petaia will wear the No.15 jersey for the first time for the Wallabies.

Tom Wright, who was Australia’s best performing back in Super Rugby this year, will replace Kellaway on the right-wing.

The Brumby, who spent time at fullback for the first time this year, has been preferred ahead of Vunivalu.

Izaia Perese’ strong ball carrying and versatility sees him nab the final position on a five forwards, three backs bench split.

Up front, Taniela Tupou comes straight in for Allan Alaalatoa, who was ruled out after being concussed in the first half last weekend.

Matt Philip replaces Darcy Swain, with the lock suspended for two weeks after his head-butt on Jonny Hill late in the first half.

There are two changes on the bench, with Brumbies lock Nick Frost set to make his debut while Perese comes into the squad.

“It’s great to have Taniela back this week and he’s extremely excited to pull on the gold jersey in his hometown,” Rennie said.

“Equally Jordy is looking forward to the opportunity at fullback and of course it will be a proud night for Nick and his family for his Test debut.

“We will proudly be wearing the First Nations jersey and singing the national anthem in Yugambeh language on Saturday night as we pay our respect to Uncle Lloyd McDermott and the First Nations people of this country.”
